With over 12 years of coaching experience, I have worked with players at many levels- from recreational and middle school programs to competitive club teams. My focus is on developing technical skills, tactical awareness, and quick decision-making so that players can play freely, creatively, and take risks on the field. I encourage a positive team environment and rotate player positions so they grow in all aspects of the beautiful game.

I have been coaching soccer for 6 years and this will be my first with SASC. I believe it’s important for young players to have freedom on the field, developing confidence, and fostering creativity. Personal life: I live in West Covina and have an 11 year old daughter. I enjoy surfing and playing soccer in my spare time. 🤙🏾

About Coach:
Coach Jason Windass serves as the Athletic Director at Mayfield Junior School in Pasadena and has taught Physical Education for the last 20 years.
Coach Jason has been coaching youth sports for 25 years, specializing in soccer or football as it’s known in his home country of England where he grew up playing and started his coaching career.
Leading with a positive coaching style and focus on total team football, his goal is to teach players about the game, good sportsmanship and to develop players skills that will help them succeed at whatever level they choose to play in their soccer journey. With a strong emphasis on build up and the possession game, Coach Jason’s teams play some of the most appealing youth soccer your child would want to be a part of and parents really enjoy watching.
CERTIFICATIONS:
• Coach currently holds a USSF D license.
